HN09 Standard Fentanyl Smart Cabinet for Operating Rooms and ICUs
HN09 Standard Fentanyl Smart Cabinet for Operating Rooms and ICUs
Six-drawer RFID controlled-drug cabinet for operating rooms, ICUs, emergency departments and pain-management units.
The RIFE HN09 is a floor-standing smart medicine cabinet designed for departments requiring greater capacity than a desktop cabinet but less storage than a central-pharmacy system.
It provides six independently monitored RFID drawers and stated capacity for more than 2,500 vials. The cabinet combines automatic medicine detection, biometric access, transaction recording, expiry monitoring and centralised reporting.
The HN09 is particularly suited to operating theatres, intensive care units, emergency departments, pain-management centres and departmental pharmacies.
- 2,500+ vial capacity
- 6 RFID-monitored drawers
- Designed for critical-care departments
- Controlled drawer-by-drawer access
- Live inventory and expiry monitoring
- Complete user and transaction records
Product Overview
The HN09 provides a balance between capacity and footprint. Its six-drawer layout allows hospitals to separate medicines by drug category, strength, clinical area, batch or security classification. Each drawer is monitored using a dedicated RFID antenna.
The system can authenticate authorised personnel, release only the appropriate drawer and detect the removal or return of a tagged vial. Every completed event can be transferred to the management platform with the corresponding user, medicine, drawer and timestamp information.
Key Features
Six RFID-controlled drawers
Each drawer operates as an independent RFID reading area, helping the system identify medicine movement at drawer level.
Department-scale capacity
The stated capacity of more than 2,500 vials makes the HN09 suitable for departmental controlled-drug inventories.
Role-based access
Access permissions can be assigned based on hospital, department, user role, medicine category, drawer, shift, time schedule, and approval level.
Dual-person verification
For higher-security medicines or wastage workflows, the cabinet may be configured to require verification by two authorised staff members.
Automatic transaction log
The system can capture operator identity, second witness identity, patient or issue reference, medicine identity, batch, expiry date, quantity, drawer, date and time, and return or wastage status.
Video-linked transactions
Where enabled, a recording of the drawer-opening event can be associated with the corresponding medicine transaction.
