The Rife RFID Smart Cabinet gives hospitals real-time visibility and control over high-value medical inventory such as implants, cardiac devices, orthopaedic items, ophthalmic lenses, tissue products, surgical devices, and consignment stock.

Each item is tagged with a passive UHF RFID tag. The cabinet’s built-in RFID reader continuously detects the tagged items inside the cabinet and automatically records every movement. When an item is removed, returned, or nearing expiry, the system updates the inventory data automatically.

There is no need for manual registers, repeated barcode scanning, or physical stock counting.

The system helps hospitals know exactly which items are available, where they are stored, who accessed them, and whether they are safe to use. It is especially useful for cath labs, orthopaedics, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, operating rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty implant stores.
